Semaglutide: GLP-1 Agonist For Medically Supervised Weight Loss

GLP-1 agonist is a class of medications known as, Incretins. GLP stands for glucagon-like-peptide and works by increasing levels of Insulin, thus lowering blood sugar. Therefore, this class of medication was first FDA approved for use in diabetes. It consists of a weekly subcutaneous injection and can dramatically increase results for successful weight loss.
